Labeling – you will rarely see labels being used in direct mail anymore. That is because there has been such an advancement in technology over the years with high tech inks, infrared and convection drying, and varying ways of handling that ensure quality addressing.
Pressure sensitive labels are the “sticky” labels most people would use in their own office in their own printers. In the direct mail process when we have pieces that will not accept any type of ink or we want to ensure a high quality bar code and print, we go to labels.
